RULES & REGULATIONS

YOUTH EVENTS RULES

Youth divisions will consist of PeeWee (6 & Under), Youth (7–12), and Junior (13–17).

Contestants may enter Barrels, Poles, or Both Events.

  • $10 Barrels Entry

  • $10 Poles Entry

  • $15 Combined Entry (Both)

Payout: Prize for 1st in each division, ribbons for 1st-3rd each division.

Each youth event will award year-end points based on placing:

1st – 20 Points
2nd – 19 Points
3rd – 18 Points
4th – 17 Points  ...and so on.

At the conclusion of the season, a Championship Buckle will be awarded to the highest point earner in each division.

Year-End Eligibility:

  • Contestant must compete in at least 5 of the 7 scheduled events to qualify for year-end awards.

  • To allow for missed events and a fair overall standings system, each contestant’s two lowest point scores will be dropped at the end of the season

JACKPOT BARRELS RULES

Jackpot Barrels will be run as an Open 4D Format with .5 second splits.

Jackpot Entry Fee:

  • $40 per horse/rider entry

Registration Deadline:

All Jackpot Barrel entries must be entered and paid by 6:00 PM.

Payout:

  • 75% Payback

  • Equal payout to each D

  • Paying top 2 places in each D

Year-End Points:

Jackpot Barrel competitors will also accumulate season points based on overall fastest times to slowest times, regardless of D placing. (1st:20points, 2nd:19,3rd:18 etc) Must compete in atleast 4 of the 7 events the be eligible. 

Year-end awards for Jackpot Barrels:

🥇 Champion — Championship Buckle + $600 Bonus
🥈 Reserve Champion — $400 Bonus
🥉 3rd Overall — $200 Bonus

Youth Carry Over Option:

Youth contestants may carry their youth barrel run time into the Jackpot Barrels for year-end points and payout eligibility by paying the $40 Jackpot entry fee.

GENERAL EVENT RULES

  • Contestants must be checked in prior to their class beginning.

  • Arena management reserves the right to combine or adjust classes if needed.

  • One horse/rider combination may have multiple entries.

  • A standard barrel/pole pattern will be used.

  • Knocked barrel or pole = 5 second penalty.

  • Off pattern/no time rules will apply.

  • In the event of a tie for year-end standings, tie breaker will be determined by highest number of event wins.

  • Management decisions are finals
